Archive: Deus Ex Machina: A Xenogears Tale

DeM is unique among Xenogears IFs in that, instead of having its players apply for existing characters, it set up a substitution system that allowed us to create original characters to replace the ones in the game. So, as you will see below, we have Queen Cyrene instead of Zephyr, who rules Shevat and has a similar history, yet is a completely different person. And so on. This allowed us a lot more freedom with the storyline, and I think it's what allowed the game to live so long, too. Although we follow the overreaching plot of Xenogears, the path to Deus is written in a completely new way

This game is now closed, but our archive is still up and running as far as I know, and can be reached at http://dem.leamonde.net - and anything not there can be found on the old site. We put a lot of work into this game, so I hope you enjoy the story.

Archive: Xenogears: Waves of Time

Called 'Xenowaves' for short, this is the IF I shouldn't have joined, because DeM kept me too busy. :p It started with the opening events of Xenogears, and judging by what was written up until the time it closed, the game was mainly focused on giving more depth to the events of the game, but not necessarily rewriting them - although that was an option too, and we just never took advantage of it.

The archive is no longer available, as far as I know. Sorry about that. Since we had a much smaller player base than DeM, the story didn't advance very far before the game ended. This archive is much more managable, as far as size is concerned.
